Nivedita grew up in India and came to the US (New Jersey) on an inter-company transfer, where she was selected out of 64 employees. She received her master’s in commerce in India and moved to North Carolina in 2004. She obtained her NC Life and Health license in June 2023. Nivedita prides herself on her buffalo mentality, being a problem-solver, and consistently taking the initiative to achieve goals both personally and professionally.
When Nivedita isn’t in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, cooking, gardening, listening to music, watching tennis and cricket, teaching her mother tongue, Telugu, and teaching Yoga in her community as she has done for the last 8-10 years. She also spends her time volunteering for charities, TATA (Indian community) and Durham Rescue Mission & WeStrive (non-profit organization).
