Mike was born and raised in Sea Cliff, New York, and graduated from the State University of New York College at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a minor in Finance. He holds licenses in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance.
His career journey began in Chicago, Illinois, where he worked on the CBOE trading floor with Spear Hull Derivatives, LLC. It was during this time that he was introduced to Risk Management and the team approach to risk assessment. Later, he relocated to Chapel Hill, NC, to embark on a new path in the Property & Casualty Insurance field. He joined his brother Chris as an Account Manager handling Personal & Small Commercial at IBD Benefits & Risk Management Group before eventually joining Jones Insurance in 2016.
As an account manager, Mike is driven to serve and prioritizes the interests of our valued clients. He is committed to delivering superior customer service and providing clear and focused insurance advice.
Outside of the office, you can find Mike enjoying quality time with his wife, Katey, their daughter, Veronica, and their Australian Shepherd, Rye. He also engages in various activities, including working on home improvement projects, learning to play the guitar, surf fishing, hiking, mountain biking, camping, and savoring the outdoors under the sunshine.
