Debra relocated to Raleigh from rural Pennsylvania as a young adult and loves calling North Carolina “home”. Her career experience has primarily been administrative with various small businesses and non-profits. Her core principles are integrity, transparency, and accountability and her strengths are self-management, critical thinking, and process-improvement. She is an ideal teammate, as she tends to influence her work environment by focusing on affirming others and building strong engaging relationships, while creating solutions with a growth mindset.
When Debra isn’t in the office she enjoys volunteering, reading, and learning more about how we can all invest in each other’s lives. She lives with her adult daughter, Elizabeth, who works at Costco and keeps them well stocked. They have a Calico named “Puppy” and a black Shepherd mix named Brody.
